Feipeng (Penny) Li

My name is Feipeng (Penny) Li, and I’m from Shanghai, China. I am 18 years old and a rising senior in high school.

I spent my junior year as an exchange student in Washington DC, where I took classes at a local high school and stayed with my host family. I am interested in political science, international relations, and women’s rights. My experience in the US has made me especially passionate about cultural exchange. I have realized how prevalent cultural biases are, and I wish to work on eliminating the misunderstandings caused by a lack of communication.
