Seung Chan Lee

Hello! My name is Seung Chan Lee and I’m a rising senior at Chadwick International School. 

I have lived in Korea all my life, but I have always been passionate about global issues, especially those regarding ecological justice and healthcare.  In particular, I cultivated my passion to solve the issue regarding the fair distribution of medicine after a family illness, as I became more aware of the exploitative nature of the patent system.  

Through the TOU program, I hope that I will meet various motivated students to be inspired in what I could and should do. I hope that, in the process, I could widen my vision to see beyond the barriers of my ignorance. I’m really excited about this virtual learning opportunity!
